This is my third visit already. I came for my first child's SMILE LASIK, my second child's SMILE LASIK, and finally my third child's LASIK surgery. I came with confidence because it's a LASIK procedure verified through my two children, performed by kind and meticulous staff—and most importantly, proven to work. A Subway has opened on the first floor in recent years. I'll start after having breakfast. It'll be another long day following my third child around.

• Pre-procedure concerns I've been afraid of eye surgery itself for almost 30 years. Seeing friends who had LASIK/LASEK (which I heard had many side effects and was dangerous) now nearly 10 years post-op and all satisfied, I felt glasses were too inconvenient and decided I should get LASIK! • Consultation experience I went knowing it was a "factory-type king of kings" clinic, but precisely because it was factory-type, I thought it would have a high volume of surgeries, so I trusted them and went!
