• Concerns Before Procedure I had burial sutures done 10 years ago, but one eye was drooping so it looked like uneven eyes, and the double eyelid fold was barely visible, so I was worried. After visiting many places, I went to this clinic last and decided right away based on the doctor's detailed and kind consultation. The doctor examined my eyes carefully, explained the areas for improvement and surgical approach in detail. I wanted a sharper eye shape with a higher tail line, but the doctor recommended keeping the current line as it matches my overall face shape, and for revision surgery, making it look natural rather than drastically changing it. That point really resonated with me! On the surgery day, we had a consultation in a private recovery room first, then proceeded with surgery. The surgery took about 1 hour. I had incision surgery and eye shape correction. In the early stages of surgery, the assistant tried inserting the IV needle multiple times, which hurt whether due to anesthesia or IV fluids, but the surgery itself went smoothly! Personally I wonder if it would have been better with the tail line higher, but people around me say it turned out well. I recommend it if you want natural double eyelids. There's a private recovery room after surgery, and when visiting, they provide swelling laser treatment as a service, so please note that. The staff members are also kind! Pre-surgery photos are taken with slight forehead tension and relaxed eyes. Post-surgery photos are taken 10 days after surgery and one month later. While looking at the app, I was always confused whether the double eyelid was visible due to forehead tension or just naturally relaxed eyes. The post-surgery photos show naturally relaxed eyes, and after the incision and eye shape correction, the strength of opening my eyes improved so I'm satisfied! • Consultation Experience All staff and the doctor were kind. When I visited after making a reservation in advance, the wait time was short, which I liked. • Procedure Result It took a long time for bruising to fade. • Concerns Before Procedure I never particularly thought my under-eyes were puffy in everyday life, but the lack of aegyo-sal (eye bags) was always stressful. Even when I carefully drew aegyo-sal during makeup, there was no base elevation, so it always looked awkward and floated. The decisive factor was that my dark circles were so severe that concealer couldn't even hide them, and after hearing that under-eye fat also contributed to this, I decided to have the surgery! They said that since my dark circles were pigmentation-type, they wouldn't completely disappear, but if the puffiness goes away, it could look a bit lighter. • Consultation Experience I chose Rio Plastic Surgery because a friend had successful double eyelid surgery there and recommended it to me. At first, I felt it was weak and regretted it a bit, but it gradually filled in and now I'm satisfied!
